blueberry crepes, green tea, and colorado.

i honestly think taking a french class everyday of the week is influencing me..........in a good way! :)

on sunday afternoon, we had nothing sweet in the house. if you know my family, this is rare. a dessert a day keeps the doctor far away. :) sooo, i decided to make some crepes. i'd had bilini in mind at first. bilini are a very Russian/Belarussian food. they're just really thin pancakes with a type of curd cheese filling, and usually served with sour cream. basically the same idea as crepes, but not as sweet.

i filled mine with raspberry jam, rolled them up, and topped them with whipped cream, (sour cream was really good too!) and blueberries. DE-LISH-OUS.

and another great thing about these is that they're SUPER easy. :)

something else that is one of my favorites, is Russian green tea. although, i'm not sure so many people could agree with me on that one. :P

this summer, i'm hoping to go to a camp out in the fresh air state of Colorado. not sure if this will fall through, but i'm praying and planning on it! my two older brothers, Ramsey and Reed, and lots of other family and friends have all gone to Eagle Lake camp and loved it. but the reason i'm SUPER excited about it, is because someone that i really look up to and love will hopefully be going as a crew counselor too! and that amazing person happens to be my beautiful cousin Megan. :)

Megan is 6 years older than me. we're not only cousins, but best friends, and i think of her as my older sister. over the past few years, we've grown really close, and have found that we share SO much in common. Megan has done so much for me, and has been a huge blessing in my life. she has been a strong example of a godly woman who serves the Lord in everything she does. she has been someone that i can go to for anything, and someone who ALWAYS makes me laugh. :) i'm extremely thankful to have someone like Megan in my life, even though i know i don't deserve it. so if you have someone like Megan in your life, don't forget how much God has blessed you with that person, and let him/her know every once in a while. :)

so thanks Meg, love ya. :)
